License
All clips on Vimoraq are published under one of two terms, shown on each clip page:
- CC0 1.0 Universal — the author has waived all copyright and related rights. Read the deed.
- Public domain — the work is not protected by copyright, for example because it was produced by a government agency or its term has expired.
What you can do
- Use, copy, modify and distribute the clips for any purpose, including commercial projects.
- Combine them with your own material and license the result however you like.
- No attribution is required. We still list the original author on each page in case you want to credit them.
What you cannot do
- Claim exclusive rights over an unmodified clip, or register it as a trademark.
- Imply that identifiable people, brands or places shown in a clip endorse your product. Public-domain status covers copyright only, not personality or trademark rights.
Our own work
The website design, text and the re-encoded files are also released under CC0. Mirror the library if you like.
